SERCO AARO LMP ROAD SIGN WASHERS
The LMP Road sign washer of the Aaro product range has been developed over years in cooperation with our clients and is used for cleaning road signs and road marker posts in the winter. The signs and markers become dirty with snow as a result of snow fall and snow plowing. The device has been designed and manufactured from start to finish by Serco in Finland. Wintry conditions have been taken into consideration when choosing components and the technical solutions aim to guarantee the operation of the device in all conditions.
Can be installed on various vehicles
The Serco LMP road sign washer can be installed on any vehicle or trailer which has enough space and load bearing capacity for it. Pickup trucks and light lorries are typical base machines. The versatile adjustment possibilities of the device’s water cannon enable trouble-free installation. The road sign washer is mounted on the vehicle using cargo straps.

Ecological and cost-effective – fast washing and low water consumption
The Serco Aaro LMP Road sign washer can be used to heat the water used for washing. This significantly increases washing speed and decreases water consumption per road sign. Another feature which increases effectiveness and decreases water consumption, is the spotlight on the water cannon. Using the spotlight, the water cannon can be aimed at the target without using water, which saves water and makes for more washed kilometres per tank.
Does not freeze and is easy to use from the cab
The Serco Aaro LMP Road sign washer uses a high-quality ATM-pump run by a 13 HP Honda petrol engine. The pump develops about 15 bars of pressure guaranteeing a 15 meter washing distance at minimum, and if the wind is right, it can be further than that. The pump engine has an electric start, so it can be started and shut down from the cab of the vehicle. All components sensitive to freezing are located in an insulated compartment, which is kept warm by the engine as it runs. The road sign washer also has a heated washer nozzle, which stays open even during long drives from site to site.
