“Someron Talkkari Oy mainly provides services to the city of Somero. We at Someron Talkkari Oy have now had a SERCO Niilo 1600KH bucket brush that has been brushed for two springs. When making a choice, this was not the cheapest, but by no means the most expensive. The cheapest was so much lighter in weight than this that it would certainly not be as strong. In addition, the advantages of this Niilo bucket brush were, among other things, a reversible bolt-on lip plate, 900mm lamellas and a watering antifreeze tank. There were also good videos that clearly showed how the brush works.
The results of this bucket brush have received good mentions not only from our machine drivers but also from our customers. We have over 50 sites for removing debris; the yards of schools, terraced houses, health centers and other public actors. This spring 2025, everything was cleaned with this Niilo bucket brush in two weeks. So the work will be done quickly with this SERCO bucket brush. Now we have also stored this outside so the antifreeze tank of the water system and the antifreeze recycling have been a really good addition.
The brush bristles have not been replaced once but now the adjustment is at the point that we will have to buy new bristles for next season. The lip plate has been replaced once and it should be replaced for the next season as well. It does wear unevenly so it is good that this Niilo bucket brush lip plate is made of three parts so you don’t have to replace them all every time.
We have been really satisfied with this bucket brush. It has worked as it should. The drivers have not been able to use the old brush machines at all anymore.”
