SKAALA 28-53 TRA PLOW
Skaala 28-53 TRA is the second largest of the double-frame Skaala plows. The Skaala 28-53 TRA weighs ca. 2,000 kg and it requires a tractor weighing at least 10 tonnes as a base machine. The width of the plow can be steplessly adjusted between 2,800 and 5,300 mm. Behind the development work done for this size of plow was a Norwegian client’s request for a plow that is as big as possible with its width still under three metres. This was because Norwegian legislature does not allow plows wider than three metres to be driven on public roads.
The Skaala 28-53 TRA plow has spring-loaded side blades and a spring-loaded float/attachment device in case of impact.
